misleading measurements

| First, I would like to say that this fireplace screen was absolutely beautiful and looks just like the image. The problem I had were with the measurements given in the product description. Those measurements are for the middle panel only.The middle panel only is forty inches high by 25 inches wide. None of the measurements included the sum of the entire three panels. As a result, this fireplace screen is massive, although beautiful. It extended over into my full mantle and did not fit on the brick steps in front of my fireplace. I was really disappointed and called Amazon to see if they could decipher the measurements on the other fleur de lis screens offered, which they could not. They did refund my money promplty after I returned the screen. I have not been able to locate another one as pretty as this one. |

| Rec'd the product in a timely manner and un-harmed. Looks good certainly fools the eye into thinking you are looking at cast iron... We didn't like the four legs (too skinny) so I cut them off and like the look much better for our fireplace. We were surprised that the "screen" material is only on the front panel not the two side panels. Certainly enhances the look of our space. |
