I am SO happy with my Dimplex mantle and fireplace. It works perfectly and looks gorgeous in my room. The finish is darker than I would expect from "cherry," but the pictures do show it as being dark.
I check out gas fireplaces now and think my Dimplex has a prettier "fire"
There is a soft motor noise when I use the heater, but it's not bad. Choosing whether or not to have the heat is a great feature. Also there is a slight "new appliance" odor when I use the heat. I expect that to go away. I definitely would recommend this product. |

| Bought for my parents , who absolutely love it. It adds depth to whatever room you place it in. The fire looks realistic and it also provides heat. My folks are giddy!!!! |
