The unit will not produce greater 'air volume' no matter how fast or hard you crank the handle. By steadily cranking the handle, you will get the maximum amount of 'air volume' which the product produces.
Over cranking the unit or stopping the unit handle from free spinning when in use, will cause damage and in some cases, breakage, to the units internal gears.

| My sister bought one of these for me for Christmas. She bought one for river trips and camping. This has become such a useful tool for starting a fire and keeping it stoked and roaring. Just fun to use. Save your lungs and get one of these. They also have the executive model which looks a little too fancy for my tastes. ha. |

I have a fisher woood stove---The air-grill really helps to
reingite My stove when it get down to a few coals,,, will order
another one next Year--The only thing I would change is the
plastic tips--they melt to easely,,would make them out of metal.
